At Deep in the Heart Wellness, we believe that wellness is for every body—every age, every season, every level of experience. According to owner Vicki Schweiss, true wellness is when you feel your best physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

When even one of these areas becomes unbalanced, we feel it—our stress rises, our health declines, and our sense of well‑being slips. But when these areas are supported, we wake up refreshed, focused, and ready to face the world with strength and purpose.
Deep in the Heart is a wellness studio designed to support these pillars of health. We offer educational classes, massage therapy, and nutritional consultations—but our heart and soul is group fitness mobility classes.
Gentle, intentional movement unites the mind, body, and spirit. It eases tension, reduces inflammation, and promotes long‑term health and well‑being. With regular practice, you’ll improve posture, strengthen your muscular structure, enhance your breathing, and shift your outlook on life.
Our studio is built on inclusion. Every BODY is welcome here—every walk of life, every stage of the journey, every fitness level. Movement should feel accessible, supportive, and empowering, and that’s exactly what we offer.

Our classes are designed to improve flexibility, mobility, motility, strength, stability, and relaxation. Our classes are designed to improve flexibility, mobility, motility, strength, stability, and relaxation. Every class is offered at multiple levels so that ALL BODIES can participate confidently and safely.
We serve people from all walks of life, and most walk through our doors with a simple, powerful goal: to feel better—physically, emotionally, or both.
A core part of our practice is breathwork. We learn how to breathe while stretching, strengthening, and relaxing. Breath is life. It oxygenates the blood, calms the nervous system, turns off the fight‑or‑flight response, and brings the body into a state of rest and digest. With proper breathing, you can stretch further, hold postures longer, and experience deeper benefits from your practice.
We also emphasize self‑care and de‑stressing techniques. Life is overwhelming, and our schedules are full. That’s why it’s essential to take time for yourself—because you cannot pour into others when you are depleted. Just one hour, two or three times a week, can make a profound difference in how you feel.
Our classes offer a sacred pause—an hour away from the noise of the world. Through movement and breath, many of us use this time to connect with the Spirit, to pray, to praise, to breathe deeply, to be present, and to grow in every way.

Each week, we set studio intentions that invite mindfulness into every area of life. These intentions help us reflect on where we are growing mentally, spiritually, and emotionally—beyond just the physical body. They serve as gentle reminders to pause, consider, and open ourselves to the work God is doing within us.
Breath is at the center of this practice. By focusing on your breath, you stay in tune with your body, deepen your awareness, and create space for transformation. Over time, the goal is to grow into a more mindful way of living—feeling better each day, connecting with a supportive community, connecting with God, and working toward the personal goals you set for yourself.
We care for the whole body because true wellness requires a full, integrated approach. We cannot pour from empty cups. This is where we fill our cup.
