Meet the people who walk alongside you.
Each instructor brings their own heart, story, and way of supporting you.
But one thing is the same across every class:
you will be welcomed, supported, and never expected to keep up.

Vicki loves helping people grow through movement.
Her journey began over 20 years ago, but it changed in a deeper way after the birth of her son in 2012, when she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, along with other autoimmune conditions including psoriasis and severe asthma.
That season sent her on a long and personal journey toward healing.
Along the way, gentle movement and stretching became a lifeline. It was how she began to rebuild strength, reconnect with her body, and slowly find her way back to feeling better.
In 2017, she felt called to begin sharing what she had learned.
In 2018, with the support of her husband Dennis, she opened Deep in the Heart.
Vicki created this space with a very specific vision:
A place where people could come exactly as they are…
especially those who have felt out of place in traditional fitness settings.
A place for real people.
For everyday bodies.
For those starting again.
Her approach focuses on breath, slow intentional movement, and proper alignment to support both physical and emotional well being.
In her classes, you can be at any level and still belong.
Beginners are encouraged to listen to their bodies and move with acceptance.
Those with more experience are guided to go deeper into their breath and build strength over time.
Vicki teaches a variety of classes including gentle, chair, somatic, mindful, dynamic movement, stability, praise, sound bowls, and beginner series classes.
At the heart of it all is a simple belief:
We all need time each week to step away from life, reconnect with our breath, and begin again.
Vicki is a 200 hour certified instructor and has taught over 4000 hours of classes.
But more than anything…
she creates a space where people feel safe to begin, supported as they grow, and never alone in the process.

Amanda brings warmth and personality to the studio.
She has worked in the medical field for over 20 years as a CNA, caring for others with consistency and heart. That same care carries into the way she shows up in every class.
Amanda joined Deep in the Heart in February of 2021 through the Beginner’s Series, after taking time away and feeling ready to come back to herself.
She quickly fell in love with the practice.
As her confidence grew, she was invited to step into teaching. What started as a step outside her comfort zone became an opportunity for growth… and she said yes.
Amanda is a wife of 20 years to her husband Fabian and a mom of four. Her oldest is in college studying to become a veterinarian, two graduated high school in 2023, and her youngest is currently in high school.
She understands what it means to juggle life, responsibilities, and the need to take time for yourself.
Amanda teaches Strength on Thursday evenings and is currently finishing her 200 hour certification.
More than anything…
she creates a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow at your own pace.

Karen encourages everyone to listen to their body and start where they are.
She began her journey with Deep in the Heart in 2019 after being invited by a friend, and quickly found a place where she could grow, heal, and stay consistent.
Even through surgeries and seasons of rest, Karen continued to return to her practice as her body allowed.
Like many in our community, she understands what it means to walk through chronic illness, including Lupus and thyroid disease. Her journey gives her a deep compassion for others who are learning to move gently and care for their bodies in a new way.
In 2022, Karen stepped into teaching and now leads Gentle class on Saturday mornings.
She is a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and has worked for AT&T as a technician for over 30 years. She knows what it means to balance life, work, and the need to take care of yourself.
Karen is known in the Deep in the Heart community for being a light in the room.
She brings warmth, kindness, and a steady presence that helps others feel at ease the moment they walk in.
In her classes, you’ll be encouraged, supported, and reminded that it’s okay to move at your own pace.

Lindsey has a heart as big as Texas and a deep desire to help others grow.
She joined Deep in the Heart in November of 2023 and quickly felt called to step into something more. After talking through what that path could look like, she committed fully and jumped in with both feet.
Over the course of a year, Lindsey built a consistent practice and stayed dedicated to her growth. Right around her one year mark, she stepped into teaching just as she had set out to do.
Lindsey teaches Sculpt on Wednesdays, bringing both energy and intention into every class.
Her background as a Doctor of Physical Therapy gives her a unique perspective. Through her work, she has seen firsthand how movement can truly change people’s lives, improving strength, function, and overall quality of life.
She earned her DPT in 2022 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and continues to serve patients at North Texas Rehab.
Outside of the studio, Lindsey recently got married and is building a home in Archer City with her husband, Tino.
Lindsey brings a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and encouraging presence to her classes.
She helps you feel strong, capable, and supported as you grow into what your body can do.

Bea is passionate about helping beginners feel comfortable and confident as they start their journey.
She has loved dance for most of her life, beginning with Zumba in high school and continuing for over 15 years. What started as something fun quickly became something much deeper.
For Bea, dance is more than movement. It’s a way to feel strong, joyful, and connected.
She has been teaching for over 4 years, sharing that passion with others and creating a space where people can let go, move freely, and enjoy themselves.
In 2023, Bea stepped away for a season after the early arrival of her baby, spending time in the NICU and then at home focusing on her family.
But even in that season, she never lost her love for dance.
When she returned, it became even more meaningful. A way to reconnect with herself, to rebuild strength, and to find her joy again.
Bea teaches Zumba and Toning, bringing energy, encouragement, and heart into every class.
She creates a space where you can have fun, feel supported, and move in a way that lifts both your body and your spirit.

Emily brings a softness to each class that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in.
She joined Deep in the Heart in 2025 after finding the studio online and quickly became part of the community, showing up consistently and fully embracing the practice.
Emily has always had a passion for wellness and fitness, earning her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. She believes movement should be accessible to everyone and encourages people to care for their bodies no matter where they are starting.
She works from home, loves her three dogs, and is engaged to Ryan, who she met through Lindsey… another connection made right here at Deep in the Heart.
Having moved to Wichita Falls in 2016, Emily now calls Deep in the Heart “the best hidden treasure in town.”
Emily teaches Somatic Movement on Tuesday evenings.
In her classes, you’ll find a calm, supportive space to slow down, reconnect, and move in a way that feels gentle and grounding.

We’re always open to welcoming the right teacher into our community.
If you’ve been feeling called to lead or share what you offer, we would love to connect with you.

Eccentric Training
Our studio is a place where teachers and students grow together.
